I wanted to take a moment to discuss my 60/60 challenge. As a reminder, I had a timer that went off every hour of the day that I was awake as a reminder to pray for 60 days.
At first it had a profound impact. I felt like it really deepened my prayer life. I love God with my whole heart and I became even more aware of this.
And then about half way through I noticed that my attentiveness was really lacking.
I think this is normal... basically we have a new routine until it because routine and then we act mindlessly.
Was it a failure? Heck no! As we continue to strive for change in our lives we come closer to who we want to be.
The way I figure it is two steps forward, 1 step back is still a step forward. I am still moving towards who I want to be.
